In tradition with Logical Psycho...I would like to introduce the newest member of my family to the blogging world, my Goddaughter, Sophie Grace Vitali. Her stats came in as 8lbs, 50z and 21 inches long. She was born around 3:30pm on Friday, September 15th to the 2 nicest and generous people a child could ask for, Robin and Jason Vitali. Congratulations to the new parents and their new family member. 
I hate myself for putting this picture on my website, but I strive to be a fair and balanced blogger, non partisan and a champion of free speech. In the spirit of that previous statement I will tell you all that I am a die-hard Clemson Tigers fan, my blood runneth Orange, and I have ill feelings for both the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs. However, when the planets align and these teams come to meet on the gridiron battlefield that means that Border Bash must be closely in tow. I'll take any opportunity to celebrate anything even if it invloves my intrastate rivalry and the interstate rivalry (I don't know which is which, but you catch my drift).
Tonight, my wife and I will be joining a friend to celebrate college football, still early in the season. As Clemson fans, we will walk amongst the droves of Cocks and Dawgs to drink overpriced alcohol and observe fans from all walks of life. My wife and I will be dressed in neutral colors as not to draw attention to ourselves. I am a die hard Clemson fan, but I am not stupid. I can just see it now...Polly and I getting into a fight with drunken fans in Black, Red, and Garnet. This brings to mind college football rivalries...or simply rivalries of any kind, sibling or other
